How It Is Made
In my design process, I incorporate a variety of traditional and modern techniques to create works of art. This methodical process from sketch to finish ensures each piece of jewelry is crafted with precision and care, reflecting my vision in every detail.
Sketch
The process begins with a series of conceptual sketches, where initial ideas, shapes, designs and concepts are explored and captured on paper.
3D Model
Then, I translate selected sketch into a digital 3D model using CAD software. This step allows for further exploration of the shape that might be difficult to convey in a 2D sketch.
Render
From the 3D model, I create renders to visualize the jewelry piece with realistic textures, colors, and lighting, and to assess the aesthetic appeal before physical production.
Prototype
The 3D model is used to create prototypes via resin 3D printing. This prototype provides a tangible model to evaluate the fit, comfort, and to find perfect proportions and balance.
Cast and Finish
The prototype serves as the base for creating a mold, in which precious metal is cast. Once raw cast piece is ready, it is then manually polished.
